You have the very best fruit...

"You have the very best fruit I have ever tasted including your Royal Anne (cherries), blueberries and blackberries. When I place a can of your fruit in my grocery cart, I smile all over because I know what a true treat/reward it will be. It's my way of pampering myself."

From Chandler, Oklahoma

Keep it simple and delicious...

"I do LOVE the fact that your fruit contains ONLY fruit, water and sugar and none of that modified-who-knows-what or high fructose corn syrup. Food allergies are a real problem when I buy processed foods, so keep it simple and delicious and I'll keep buying."

From Georgetown, Illinois

Oregon Fruit in the Arctic

"I also want you to know that of all the fruit from cans that I buy; your products are my very far favorite. I teach in the Arctic and have to shop for six months supplies at once. Choices have to be made! I opt for Oregon Fruit whenever I can. Have a good day and thanks for caring."

From Point Hope, Alaska

Cherries contain popular sleeping aid...

"I love tart cherries, always have, always will. I eat them in pies, on top of ice cream. I buy them fresh.

Did you know that they also help you sleep? They contain melatonin, the popular sleep aid. Eating a handful two hours before bedtime, you will have a good night rest without any side effects. The recipe for cherry pie on the back of the label was very good."

From Georgetown, South Carolina

Serve a treat from yesterday...

"Over the years I've used several of your products. When I was younger, I had a nice raspberry patch...two kinds of the red variety and always lamented that our climate didn't make it wise to plant the black and gold varieties. I've missed having raspberries, except for bit of jam or preserves.

On your label on cans of raspberries you print an apology (a warning?) that consumers might be disappointed with the contents. So strong is the message that I've resisted buying this product.

Today, after weeks of sub-zero and snowy weather, I decided to bring home a can, just for a reminder of old, pleasant summers. We couldn't have enjoyed them more. Well, fresh from the patch would be better, but even old farmers must be realistic.

It's proof of the boredom created by a long winter...this note of praise...but I do wish to say that in the age of microwaves and fast food, it was quite lovely to chill this can of raspberries, reach inside a drawer for my can opener and serve a treat from yesterday-many of the berries remarkably whole."

From Foley, Minnesota

Oregon Fruit in the Ozarks...

"My first and only fan letter! Down here in the Ozarks, we live in Blackberry country and I wouldn't waste my time fighting chiggers, snakes and briars when your blackberries are available year 'round and danger-free.

One problem that's gotten to be a joke around here: we're 1/2 mile off the highway across the field and 1/4 mile down a farm lane off the side road. Every time I bake a blackberry pie, a local deputy sheriff shows up in the farmyard. We accuse him of standing on top of the patrol car to sniff the air. He's big enough to eat 1/4 pie at a sitting (or take it with him if he gets a call.) The pie is like my Mom made 50+ years ago in Indiana."
