Blackberry Sorbet

Ingredients

1 can Oregon Blackberries
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon orange peel

Instructions

Puree blackberries in blender or food processor; strain to remove seeds. Heat water and sugar to boil or until all sugar is dissolved; cool to room temperature. Combine fruit puree, syrup and orange peel; blend well. Freeze 1-1/2 hours; thaw slightly and beat with mixer or food processor until slushy. Refreeze until firm. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
