Plum Puddin' Pie

Ingredients
- 1 can Oregon Purple Plums, halved and pitted
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9-inch pie plate. Place plum halves skin side down in the pan and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Combine granulated sugar, cinnamon and flour and sprinkle over plums. Dot with 1 tablespoon of butter. Cream together 2 tablespoons butter, brown sugar and eggs. Sift flour and baking powder and add to batter, blending well. Drop by teaspoons and gently spread the batter over the plums. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
