A loving customer sent in this favorite Grape Pie recipe, and our warehouse manager baked two of them. They disappeared so fast we were lucky that we saved the recipe!


2 cans Oregon Grapes, drained
2 crusts for a 9-inch pie
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup tapioca
1 cup whipping cream


  1. Prepare the crust for a two-crust, 9-inch pie. Drain the syrup from the cans of Grapes, and pour the grapes into the bottom of the pie crust.
  2. Mix together tapioca, sugar and whipping cream, and pour mixture over the Grapes.
  3. Cover with the top crust, crimp edges, and make several slits in the top crust to vent.
  4. Bake at 425 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Let cool 20-30 minutes for pie to set before serving.
