Boysenberry Cream Pie

  1. Combine 2 slightly beaten eggs with 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Add 1-1/2 cup heated milk to this, beating constantly.
  2. Pour into lightly greased pie pan of size you used to make pre-heated pie shell. Distribute in mix the well drained boysenberries from one can. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Custard should be soft in center - it will set. Cool quickly. Run a knife around the edge and slide custard into baked pie shell. Slightly tricky but its nifty.
