Dark Sweet Cherry Ice Cream Pie



  1. Chop cherries.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk; mix well.
  4. Add chopped cherries, lemon juice and almond extract; stir until combined.
  5. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Pour cherry mixture evenly into pie crusts.
  7. Freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
  8. Cut into serving sized pieces. Garnish as desired (we used chocolate shavings). Serve immediately; pie slices thaw quickly.
  9. Store leftovers, covered, in the freezer.
