Dark Sweet Cherry Thumbprint Cookies



  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Mix in the flour and salt until combine. Dough will look crumbly.
  3. Roll dough into round balls and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Make thumbprints in each dough ball and fill with one dark sweet cherry.
  4. Bake for 11-14 mins until edges start to get lightly brown and cookie sets up. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Mix powdered sugar with milk to make a thick glaze. Place in corner of zipper bag and clip corner to pipe. Pipe perpendicular lines across cookie to decorate.
