No-Bake Gooseberry Pie



  1. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and cinnamon.
  2. Drain syrup from gooseberries and add water to measure 1 cup liquid. Add liquid and butter to sugar mixture.
  3. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Add gooseberries. Cover pan and let cool. Pour into baked 9" pastry shell. Garnish with whipped cream.
