Red Tart Cherry Vodka DIY



  1. Fill a jar with Oregon Fruit Red Tart Cherries, but do not pack it.
  2. Pour the vodka on top and seal tightly.
  3. Leave in a dark place, preferably for at least 2 weeks—or up to 6 months.
  4. At the end of that time, open the jar and strain.
  5. Add sugar (or not) to taste.
  6. Makes one 34-oz/1-L bottle of vodka.
